Even in urban centers, the availability of charging points can be inconsistent, leading to "range anxiety" among EV users. Additionally, the user experience at charging stations often lacks convenience and efficiency, with issues such as incompatible charging standards and unreliable equipment. For instance, in 2022, nearly 212 million people in the EU lived in apartment buildings and relied heavily on public charge points due to the lack of personal charging stations.
